Thanksgiving Eve - Worship and Pie
Come worship together in gratitude on Thanksgiving Eve at 7pm. The service is filled with our favorite thanksgiving and praise hymns. Come to sing and stay for pie and fellowship after the service.
Advent All Together - November 28 at noon
The new church year begins on Sunday, November 28 with the season of Advent. Join us at noon in Fellowship Hall to make luminaria. Some will be used to line the church walkways during Advent and Christmas. Others you can take with you to make your home festive. All ages are welcome.
Advent Evening Prayer - Wednesdays at 7pm
Make vespers your Wednesday evening ritual this Advent season. Come together for a service of song and scripture that marks our journey to the manger. It's a busy season that can overlook the branch of Jesse, drown out the prophet's cry and rush around Israel's new song.
Learn to Knit -- For All Ages
Join our knitters in the lounge at noon on Sundays, November 21 and December 5. This group welcomes knitters of all skill levels and ages together for laughter, learning and fellowship. Bring a project youre working on or start from scratch! Snacks provided.
Building and Nurturing a Faith Community
The congregation was founded in 1883 and was the first English-speaking Lutheran Church in the Twin Cities area. Today we are a proud congregation of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) located in the
Tangletown neighborhood of Southwest Minneapolis.
