The Hook & Ladder Theater is a fiercely independent, artist-driven, multi-use event center located in the historic Firehouse #21 in Minneapolis, MN. Since it's inception in 2016 The Hook & Ladder Theater has proudly served the Twin Cities' artist community with its outreach, development, education and revenue generating performance opportunities. As a venue operated by the non-profit Firehouse Performing Arts Center (FPAC) The Hook presents a wide variety of original performing arts, including; music, literary, visual, comedic, culinary, craft and theater. The range of services to the Twin Cities Metro Area includes, but is not limited to, ticketed concerts, wedding rentals, non-profit fundraisers, birthday/retirement celebrations, community programming, outdoor festivals, album & book releases, art shows, private events, presentations, workshops, and seminars. As a partially solar-powered venue, The Hook is also committed to sustainability through hosting zero-waste concerts and events. The theater boasts (2) indoor performance stages, the MPLS Lounge (complete with an extensive craft beer, cider and wine selection), and a theater with full production and technical capabilities, coat-check, parking, high-speed guest wi-fi and much more.
