At Twin Cities Active Chiropractic in Minnetonka, MN our mission is to provide patient-oriented pain relief and wellness solutions to improve health, maintain an active lifestyle and achieve optimal performance. We do this through our methods of active chiropractic care and by educating you to be accountable and take control of your own healthcare needs. Rohin Sachdeva D.C, ART® Dr. Rohin is dedicated to serving the community’s healthcare needs. Dr. Rohin believes in the use of integrative care because no one type of care works for everyone; each patient is an individual and needs to be viewed as such. One-on-one time with patients allows him to focus on their needs. Dr. Rohin specializes in sports injuries treatment and recovery, workplace wellness, nutrition and physical rehab techniques. Chiropractic adjustment An adjustment is the use of a specific force in a specific direction to return normal motion to any given joint. It is applied to a joint that is “locked” or not moving correctly. An adjustment is used to return a more normal motion into the joint. Active Release Techniques Dr. Rohin currently holds certifications in Spine, Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, and Long Tract Nerve Entrapment. ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles. Shoulder Injury A few common shoulder injuries are frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injuries, and impingement. These may be caused by overuse, a fall, injury from an athletic event, from a workout, an instability and sometimes may develop gradually over time without any trauma. Hip Pain Hip pain can be cause by trauma, tendonitis occurring in the muscles surrounding the hip, low back pain, shoulder pain, sprain/strain of lower extremity muscles and other causes. Muscle and joint causes may be treated using functional movement screening, muscle work, joint mobilization and strengthening techniques. Hand and Foot pain There can be many causes for hand and foot pain, such as sprain/strain, inflammation, nerve entrapments, arthritis and many others. Many of these conditions respond well to conservative muscle and joint treatments. Low back pain Chiropractic care has shown to be one of the most effective methods for treating low back pain. We are able to use muscle work, adjustments and exercises to treat and rehab the muscles and joints of the low back to provide improved mobility to treat and maintain injuries. Neck Pain Neck pain can have multiple causes including but not limited to. Using soft tissue work, joint mobilisation techniques and exercise rehab methods we can treat most of the conditions conservatively.
