At The Retreat, we provide a gender specific alternative to traditional alcohol rehab and alcohol treatment that is centered on the spiritual principles of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. Our recovery program employs a community of over 300 volunteers, all of whom have been directly affected by alcoholism and drug addiction and whose lives demonstrate that a happy, sober life is achievable. This community works with our clients to help them through the most difficult times of recovery, and to provide an on-going network of support and reassurance once the individual returns to his or her former environs. In addition to both inpatient and outpatient alcohol treatment alternatives, The Retreat's recovery program also provides for family involvement, as well as evening and weekend opportunities to meet the different needs of its participants.
