Welcome to Rare Aircraft, a family owned and operated aviation company. Since it was founded in 1991 by Roy Redman, Rare Aircraft has been dedicated to the restoration of the antique aircraft from the golden years of aviation. Our prestigious track record begins with the "Four Time Grand Champ" Stinson Reliant of 1982 (published in Sport Aviation, November 1982). Since this initial and highly-acclaimed restoration, Rare Aircraft's list of restoration accolades has continued to grow, year after year. In fact, every restoration we've shown has won a national award.
