The Normandy Inn & Suites has been Innkeeper to Minneapolis since 1925. The cozy and comfortable character of "Hotel Normandy" remains, while guests enjoy the most current features and amenities. The Normandy is a full service hotel with 199 newly built or remodeled guest rooms, studios and two-room suites. The hotel features a beautiful garden atrium with an in-door pool, whirlpool and sauna, a newly designed and complete exercise studio and free internet connectivity. The Normandy Kitchen, established in 1941, is a popular Minneapolis eatery and bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The Normandy Kitchen features a menu of inspired comfort foods and desserts, all prepared from scratch. Room service is available, and we serve a late night menu on weekends.

The Normandy is conveniently located in downtown Minneapolis, and is near to anywhere you want to be downtown. We are five blocks from The Minneapolis Convention Center and The Hubert Humphrey Metrodome Stadium (Minnesota Vikings Football), Six blocks from the Target Center (Minnesota Timberwolves basketball) and eight blocks from Target Field (Minnesota Twins Baseball). All major banks, government offices and commercial buildings are an easy walk from the hotel, as are the Orpheum Theater, the State Theater, The Pantages Theater, Orchestra Hall (Minnesota Orchestra), and all downtown entertainment venues.

Transportation to the airport and local points of interest is convenient. The Hiawatha Line (light rail service) is just three blocks from the hotel, with service to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the Mall of America and Target Field (Minnesota Twins Baseball). Airport shuttle bus service is provided by Super Shuttle / Coach USA, and is available every 30 minutes with an advance reservation. Taxi service for guests is very easy and convenient with wait times under 5 minutes. The Normandy Inn & Suites is close and convenient to both Interstate Freeways I-35W and I-94 that converge near downtown.
You'll enjoy our newly remodeled and finely appointed guest rooms and suites. All rooms feature large work desks with ergonomic chairs, comfortable upholstered chairs with ottomans, luxurious "euro-style" bedding, original works by local Minneapolis artists and elegant granite bathroom vanities. The Suites at the Normandy are cozy and comfortable! Our suites are two rooms (living parlor and bedroom). The parlor includes a kitchenette, high definition LCD television, a sleeper sofa, super-comfy furniture and an activity table. The bed rooms primarily feature a king-sized bed, but suites with two double beds are available. All suites feature a deluxe, glass-enclosed shower. Each suite offers both wired and wireless internet connectivity. Fireplace suites are available. Normandy Inn guests are treated nightly to extra goodies when we serve freshly baked chocolate chip cookies with cold milk at 10 PM.
