"Lindey's Story" of the Month 3/26/10
My husband and I met in 1989 while I was living at the Hamline Apartments in Roseville. Our older family and friends always recommended we go to Lindey's for a great steak dinner since we lived so close to the restaurant. We were young and rather than listen to good advice, frequented the former Cattle Company. We moved out of the area without eating at Lindey's.

In 1999, we visited friends in Seeley Lake, Montana. They knew we had never eaten at Lindey's in Minnesota, so they made sure to take us to the restaurant on the lake. We were in awe of the beautiful log building and the wonderful view of the lake, but most of all we were impressed with the best steak dinner we had ever had! That following year we celebrated one of many wedding anniversaries by having dinner at Lindey's Arden Hills. It has also become our favorite place to celebrate birthdays, especially for our son's 16th.

We will be back year after year as long as Lindey's remains as the best place for steak in Minnesota!
