HCC Library Art Exhibit October 27
The HCC Library will be hosting an exhibit of fine Finnish weaving entitled Vari & Muoto: Suomi-Tyyliin: Color and Form Finnish Style on Wednesday, October 27. A dedication ceremony and reception is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The exhibit also features the dedication of a ceramic wall sculpture Winter by Finnish sculptor/graphic designer Ouli Sarkikoski. HCCs Family Night is just around the corner on Thursday, October 28. Come for dinner, games and Comedy Juggler Sean Emery, who will present a family friendly show. HCC Theater Announces Fall Production of PROOF HCC Theater Director Patty Laine announces the Fall Semester theater production of PROOF. "PROOF" is a contemporary American drama written by David Auburn. Recognized as one of the great American plays of the past decade, PROOF won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2001 Tony Award for Best Play. The role Catherine was a Tony Award-winning success on Broadway for Mary-Louise Parker and the 2005 film version starred Gwyneth Paltrow, Anthony Hopkins, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Hope Davis. The play PROOF questions the line between genius and madness. This exciting new play combines the elements of surprise with great storytelling to provide some unforgettable theater!
