HIRED, founded in 1968, is a leading Twin Cities area provider of job-skills training and employment training. HIRED assists disadvantaged people and other job seekers to become qualified for and obtain employment.
HIRED enrolls more than 10,000 persons annually in a number of programs designed to assist low-income adults, dislocated workers, welfare-to-work individuals, refugees and youth. In addition, HIRED provides recruitment and retention services for hundreds of employers each year.

Looking to contribute money to an organization that would have a direct impact on youth, Bob Grado of SkaterDad was thrilled to receive a tip from a St. Paul WorkForce Center employee about HIREDs YouthLEAD program. The group recently made a $100 donation to support HIREDs YouthLEAD programming.

As a chosen agent for the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Developments (DEED) Workforce Investment Act funding, HIRED had the opportunity to submit client success stories for inclusion in DEEDs 2009 Annual Report.
