After Hours Fat Quarter Scramble
Join us on Wednesday, November 17th for our annual After Hours Fat Quarter Scramble. We
will be locking the doors at 5pm (normal closing time) to prepare and get ready for the rush.
Doors will re-open at 6pm until 7pm for the Scramble. Fat quarters $1.00. Must be purchased
in increments of 25. Other in store specials will be offered that night. No punchcard discounts or
other coupons will be honored this night. It’s the perfect night to prepare shop for holiday gift
giving and to practice your “Black Friday” shopping strategies!

The 1 Million Pillowcase ChallengeA national effort sponsored by American Patchwork and Quilting to make a difference at the
local level by sewing and donating pillowcases.
Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference
Every pillowcase can make a difference in our community. A pillowcase can provide comfort
for a cancer patient, hope for a foster child, encouragement for a battered woman or beauty for
a nursing home resident.
What can you do to help?
Sew a pillowcase or more. Drop them off here at Seams Like Home. For each pillowcase that
you donate, receive a discount coupon for Seams Like Home and a free fat quarter. We will
enter your donated pillowcases online in the national total. (To date the national total is at
65,217 pillowcases.) Then, we will donate your pillowcases to local charities including the local
senior centers, food shelf, etc.)
Weather Related ClosingsIf the local school districts close due to weather (Moose Lake and Willow River), Seams Like Home

plus one free fat quarter.
