Welcome to 3 Kittens Needle Arts! We are a full-service needlework store, serving customers for over 30 years. We cater to knitters, needlepointers and crocheters with over 1000 yarns, hundreds of knitting and crochet patterns, a large selection of hand-painted canvasses and needlepoint threads, buttons and other accessories to make your craft more enjoyable, and many classes to stimulate your imagination.

We've come up with some quick and easy projects for holiday knitting and crochet.

Fiber Trends has a number of patterns for different styles of felted slippers, clogs and boots.

We have several versions of the Pidge pattern including this crocheted version. All Pidge patterns are free with yarn purchase at 3 Kittens.

There are a lot of wonderful chunky scarf patterns available this fall, including the one at left from Classic Elite's Alley booklet.

The fabulous Grove Mittens from Jared Flood's Made in Brooklyn booklet are sure to warm up your giftee's hands and heart.

Online Needlepoint Trunk Show
We are excited to be able to offer our customers a fun selection of wonderful hand-painted canvases online at our trunk show pricing. All canvases presented on our Trunk Show page are available at 15% off retail price, and if you're a 3K Club member you can take 20% off. Quantities are limited to one canvas each and as they sell, we'll be adding more canvases, so check back often.

You can now purchase Stitch Cooperative patterns online through us. Stitch Cooperative is a group of independent knit and crochet designers, including Robyn Chachula, Annie Modesitt, Kristen TenDyke, Dora Ohrenstein, Shannon Okey, Amy O'Neill Houce, Sivia Harding and more.

We have great perks for November for our 3K Club Members. If you read our list of Top 10 Holiday Gift Ideas above, you're on the right track.

Each time you come in and buy a pattern for one of the items on the list, you will receive 10% off your yarn for that project. (If you already have a pattern at home, just bring it into the store, and we will give you the 10% off for the yarn for your pattern.)
The first time you buy the yarn for the project, we'll give you a full list of projects that you can carry around with you. Each time you buy one of the projects we'll stamp your list.
At the end of the month, turn in your list for a chance to win two fabulous prizes: if you've bought 5 projects, you'll be entered in a drawing for a $25 gift card to 3 Kittens; if you've bought 10 projects, you will be entered in a separate drawing for a special prize to be determined.

We have a number of trunk shows coming up. As always, yarns and canvasses of the companies featured will be 15% off during the run of each trunk show. Please call in advance if you are coming for the first day of the show to make sure it has arrived! Perk Alert: 3K Club members will receive an additional 5% on canvases purchased from any of our needlepoint trunk shows.

We carry our own line of patterns for sale. We are working to have all patterns available for purchase simply here on our website. You can check what's currently available at this page. For all other designs, please visit our 3 Kittens Patterns page for photos and pricing and an order form.

We offer a 10% discount to any guild member. This includes local guilds (Minnesota Knitters Guild, St Paul Embroiderer's Guild, etc.), national guilds (such as The Knitting Guild of America, the Crochet Guild of America, etc.) and The National Needle Arts Association. You must show your membership card to receive the discount. This offer cannot be combined with any other discounts, including 3K Club Membership discounts.
