Founded near the shores of Lake Ripley in 1927, Litchfield Golf Club has been challenging players of all abilities for several generations. With four sets of tee boxes to accommodate any level of player, Litchfield Golf Club has 18 uniquely challenging holes.

Beautiful old and new trees alike line both sides of many of the fairways, adding clear definition to the task ahead. Litchfield golf course resides on slightly rolling terrain, allowing for clear visibility of each target, as well as contributing to timely pace of play. Although there are very few “blind” shots, water can come into play on nine different holes, thus rewarding shot making ability and control over reckless decision making.

Litchfield Golf Club has a rich Club Membership tradition. Even today, Litchfield Golf Club proudly offers an outstanding membership value. Such an excellent value, in fact, that we have many nonresident members who can’t pass up the great deal! Members have unlimited golf privileges, exclusive rights to use of the course on specific days, cart storage and locker room options, account charging privileges, reciprocal reduced greens fees at participating golf courses, exclusive promotional discounts and popular member gatherings and parties. Litchfield Golf Club has historically been a strong supporter of Junior Golf, and our Junior membership rates are designed to give young players affordable access so they can develop into skilled players.

Litchfield Golf Club is also a very popular destination course for the Minnesota lake-bound traveler. Our green fees are an excellent value for out of town visitors. And after an enjoyable round of golf, there’s no better place to reminisce and get some excellent food than Peter’s On The Lake, which is right next to the Pro Shop.

Nestled on the north shore of Lake Ripley, Peter's has become the place to meet and eat in the Litchfield area for nearly 15 years. Overlooking the lake you become accustomed to sunsets of unmatched beauty and a view of the local wild life while dining in casual comfort. Peter's special technique has made his ribs famous for more than 25 years. Baby Back Pork Ribs, home cured & smoked right here. They are worthy of their reputation. Everything on the menu is delicious, and the homemade quality is evident in every selection.
