Welcome to cedar peT clinic lake elmo…
Who comes to us? Dogs and cats, of course! And also all kinds of birds, from parakeets to cockatoos. Rabbits, reptiles and all kinds of pocket pets. Ferrets, hedgehogs, and turtles. (and the occasional tarantula!)
Dr. John Baillie, Dr. Anna Ulfeng and Dr. Noemi Plantz provide expert care for companion animals in a friendly small-town practice. Cedar Pet Clinic Lake Elmo is conveniently located in the very middle of the east metro, right on Highway 5, midway between Stillwater, Woodbury, Bayport and Oakdale, and convenient to Hudson and Somerset.
Cedar Pet Clinic Lake Elmo strives in many ways to give back to the communities we serve. Our Children’s Pet Show, emergency treatment of wild animals, and work with the Wildcat Sanctuary are a few examples. Visit our Good Neighbor page to read more!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our third annual Everybody Wins Children's Pet Show, held as part of the Lake Elmo Fall Festival. Our judges, Dr. Anna Ulfeng and Dr. Noemi Plantz, awarded 32 ribbons, after leading staff, children and pets in the festival parade. Special thanks to practice manager Mila Falbaum, ringmaster Peg Guilfoyle, photographers David Falbaum and Heather Betz, and staffers Sue, Kris, Kirsten and Michelle. Thanks also to the Fall Festival leadership, especially Mike Bouthilet of Lake Elmo Public Works, who was so helpful with our setup. Read more and view our winners!
COME CHECK US OUT...AT NO COST!
Just looking? We know that medical care for your companion animals is important to you, and you want to be sure they are receiving top quality care. That's why, during the fall and winter, we offer a free clinic visit for you and your pet, to meet us, to see the clinic, and ask any questions you wish about our work. Open to all, by appointment only, for anyone new, with any kind of pet. We especially recommend this for animals who have been afraid of visits to the vet, and for new puppies and kittens. (Let us help you get them off to a good start!) You are also welcome to come without your pet if you prefer. These visits typically take about twenty minutes. Come and meet us! Call to inquire, 651-770-3250.
Road construction on Highway 5 is expected to last until October. The actual detour, just east of 694, is only two miles long, but the exit ramps from 694 to Highway 5 are expected to be closed intermittently. If you're coming from the west, we recommend using Highway 94 eastbound to Manning Ave, then left (north) on Manning to Highway 5, then left (west) on 5 to the clinic. An alternate is to come east on Hwy 36 to Lake Elmo Avenue, then right (south) on Lake Elmo Avenue to Highway 5; you'll arrive just at our driveway.
