Hibbing Plumbing sells, installs, and services a variety of plumbing related products and brands. We have expertise in a number of areas such as rough in plumbing of drain, waste, vent and domestic water piping; installing hydronic heating systems both radiant and baseboard; installing solar domestic hot water heating; installing wood boilers; repairing steam heating components including cleaning plugged hot water coils. We are certified by manufacturers such as Uponor, Rehau, Viega, and Wardflex to name a few to install their pipe and fittings.

Hibbing Plumbing was formed in 2001 as a small plumbing company that the two owners envisioned would fill a niche in our community and the surrounding area. During a long ride to International Falls, MN for a weekend of youth hockey with their kids, Nick Bougalis and Mike Egan discussed their desire and the need for a small service-oriented plumbing company. Nick was frustrated with the lack of quick and dependable service from local plumbers that he dealt with while running his excavating business. Mike was looking to come back to a mechanical career that he had left years ago. The two formed the company with the assistance of Mike's brother John who is a master plumber in the Twin Cities area.
After the first year of operation, Fred Tomassoni came on board as the firm's master plumber. He worked with us for five years until his passing. Nick earned his master plumber license in 2007.
We have not only earned our share of the service business in our area, but we have also constructed several residential and commercial projects. We pride ourselves on quick callbacks and quality service. We are fully licensed and qualified to install plumbing systems, hydronic (hot water) heating systems, radiant heating systems, ground source heat pumps, solar water heating. and gas piping systems, We have also slowly migrated into the drain cleaning business and have just recently purchased a state of the art jetting system capable of opening up most any sewer or drain pipe from a 10" main line to a 2" kitchen drain. We now have the ability to completely manage your drain problems from cleaning to replacing the pipes if necessary. We have the ability to thaw frozen sewer and water lines, remove tree roots, replace root laden or broken pipes, and repair damaged piping.
