Welcome to the T-59 Motel and Video. Let me introduce ourselves, we are Dave, Mave, and Travis Jansen and we have been the owner/operators of the T-59 Motel since March 1, 1976. We had 28 rooms at the time we purchased the motel and then we decided to open a video store in 1984. We took out one room first to see how it would go, starting with a few hundred tapes. As that part of the business grew, we kept taking out more rooms and built it into one of the best video stores in Northwest Minnesota. In 2007 we remodeled 5 rooms to make them large extended stay units that have full kitchens and one more in 2009. The units are available daily, weekly or for an extended stay . We take a hands on approach here at the T-59 Motel and Video. When you call up for a reservation or just have a question on what video’s are available, just know that Dave, Mave, and Travis will be there to answer the phone with kind and courtesy service that has made us the friendliest place to stay in Thief River Falls.
