RESIDENTIAL SERVICEYou can drop items off at our facility in Otsego, Minnesota or we can send a truck out for curb side pick up. We also offer Inside removal of items to be recycled if needed.
COMMERCIAL SERVICEWe work with commercial customers including fast food chains, manufacturing warehouses, waste companies, property management companies, roll-off companies, cities, other recyclers who are not licensed to process, banks, medical companies, and roof top a/c companies. We can tailor a schedule or recycling program that work best for your company.
APPLIANCE RECYCLINGMetro Appliance Recycling is licensed and insured to safely handle the properprocessing of old appliances. Our certified technicians are qualified to reclaim freon and follow safe handling procedures. We work within the Twin Cities area and surrounding suburbs. Items can be dropped off to us or you can schedule curb side pick-up ofunwanted appliances.
COMPUTER & E-SCRAP RECYCLINGWe acceptcomputers and electronics. Your privacy and security are very important. Computers that are turned in for recycling are completely disassembled at our facility.Hard drives are notcleaned with "Pentagon approved software" and resold or reused like some recyclers. Hard drives are demanufactured and then shredded which renders them useless and any information is 100% gone. Computer boards are ground into chips and then melted to reclaim precious metals andensuring that all information is destroyed. A certificate of destruction is available upon request.
FLUORESCENT LIGHT BULB RECYCLINGFluorescent lights contain up to 3 mg of mercury therefore they are classified as hazardous material. We accept all kinds of Fluorescent bulbs including CFL, HID, Ultraviolet, tubes, U shaped, flood lamps, and incondesent. We also accept ballast and capacitors for recycling.
RECYCLING LAWAs of July 1, 2006 computers and electronics can not be thrown in your garbage can. Metro Appliance Recycling has set up services toprocess these items for recycling. Stereos, Televisions, DVD players, VCRs, Small household appliances are accepted for processing.
