Island Lake Golf & Training Center began in 1995. It has been called Shoreview's hidden treasure with its tree lined fairways and strategically placed ponds with fountains. It was built to provide Ramsey County residents with a place to practice, train under a PGA professional and play golf in less than half the time it takes to play a regulation-size course. Island Lake is a scenic par 28 course with eight par 3's and one par 4. Island Lake Golf has a practice range with well positioned targets, it also has a 18 hole miniature golf course with a snack bar in the clubhouse. Both the practice and miniature golf are lit for evening play. It is a course which is fun for all levels of players.

Island Lake Golf & Training Center is committed to providing top-ranked golf training programs with exceptional customer service. Greg Schulze, 2007 Minnesota PGA Teacher of the Year, directs or trains all instructors for each program! Greg has put his personal touch on all our programs and leagues. There are programs for juniors and seniors, beginners and advanced players and everyone in between are available.

Island Lake Junior Golf Camps is a leveled program designed for more advanced juniors who may be thinking about the high school team or playing in the Minnesota PGA Junior Tournament Series to those juniors who have never touched a club before but have shown an interest in learning.
