Feline Rescue, Inc. is a Minnesota based no-kill companion cat rescue organization. Our founders established Feline Rescue in 1997 in Minneapolis, MN as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization, with no paid staff. We are funded exclusively through donations and grants. We receive no municipal, state, or federal funding.
We provide rescue and relief to the homeless and endangered cats in our community through programs that offer shelter, foster, social and medical rehabilitation, feral and stray management, spay/neuter subsidy, and community education.
Our mission is to provide safe shelter, veterinary care, and socialization for stray, abandoned, or abused cats until good permanent homes can be found for them. Our mission does not enable us to accept owner surrendered animals.

Chuck and Don's has announced the recipients of its 2010 holiday season Paw Prints fundraiser. Beginning November 15, Chuck and Don's shoppers can buy paw prints for $1; all proceeds will be split evenly between Feline Rescue and Red Lake Rosies with the purpose of reducing the number of unwanted pets through spay and neuter efforts. Purchased paw print donations will be displayed at each store during the holiday season. Please visit Chuck and Dons and help them fill their store windows with paw prints! Thank you Feline Rescuers! WE ASKED AND YOU GAVE!! We received $11,292 in donations and want to say a very special thank you for caring. We did not win a Golden Ticket prize, but you went above and beyond, all the donations added up to a big total, and we (and the kitties) could not be happier! While we can't personally show our gratitude to you all by giving you each a warm fuzzy kitty hug, here are some photos that represent how we feel right now. We would not be able to do what we do without your support, so once again THANK YOU!!

Another round of voting began on September 20, 2010,in the Animal Rescue Site Holiday Shelter Challenge! Feline Rescue's loyal fans & supporters helped us win a $1000 grant to help rescue more cats - can we do it again? Voting continues through December 19, 2010, and the votes do add up!
Voting is easy! Just click on the cute kitten to the left, and find us by typing in "Feline Rescue" for the shelter name, and choose "MN" for the state. Click the "Vote" button that pops up by our name, then confirm your vote by typing in the name of the animal in the picture and clicking the "Confirm vote" button.

Come do your holiday shopping where you will find a variety of items including handmade local crafts and "regifting."

Relax and enjoy some hot cider while spending time with our feline friends at the Feline Rescue Adoption Center, located in St. Paul two blocks north of University Ave (map).

100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to Feline Rescue, Inc. for food, shelter, and medical care for stray, abused, and abandoned cats and kittens.
