Bethel University is a top-ranked, evangelical Christian university based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Bethel University has been a leader and model in Christian higher education since 1871. For generations, our fusion of evangelical faith with top-ranked academics has transformed women and men, preparing them for unique callings in the kingdom of God.
With more than 100 academic programs in 2 colleges, a grad school, and a seminary, we're one of the most comprehensive, interdenominational Christian universities in the nation. Our main campus, in the heart of the Twin Cities metro, gives us quick access to service projects, internships, churches, ministry organizations, and tons of local entertainment.
Everything we do at Bethel is guided by our core values, rooted in Scripture. We are Christ-followers, character-builders, truth-seekers, learners, salt and light, reconcilers, and world-changers.
We are, above all, a community—serving and encouraging one another toward our individual potential. Working together in Christ’s name, we become personally transformed so that we can transform our world.
With a total enrollment of 6,500 students, Bethel is the largest institution in the 13-member Christian College Consortium and among the top five in the 106-member Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. In recent years, our students have come from as many as 49 states and 23 countries, and have represented more than 65 Christian denominations.
The 110,000-square-foot Brushaber Commons (completed in March 2009) is the latest addition to our 245-acre lakeside campus in suburban Arden Hills, Minnesota, 20 minutes from downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis. The spacious, modern building houses a two-story dining center, a restaurant, coffee shop, expanded campus store, offices for student organizations, and a green roof.
