Welcome to New Hope Church, we meet Sundays at 10:00 am in the former Calvary Baptist Church building on the corner of North Prairie and West Walnut Streets. Come as you are.
The mission of New Hope Church is to evangelize and disciple people (i.e., to proclaim the Gospel and to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ). This mission is in obedience to the "Great Commission" given by Jesus Christ to His disciples:
"Go and make disciples of all nations-baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19); " and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" (Acts 1:8b).
In remaining faithful to the mission statement of New Hope Church the following key areas of ministry have been developed.
Each Sunday a Praise and Worship service is offered at 10:00 A.M. This service is designed to communicate a common heart language that people identify and participate with.
New Hope is currently utilizing special events offered by Ministry Arts for Global Impact as a means of reaching those who don't attend church. New Hope will continually be exploring new and creative ways to reach our community with the Gospel message.
New Hope Church will guide people on a road to personal discovery, spiritual growth and maturity through the various study groups that are always available, utilizing the Bible as our source of truth and training.
Small groups (sometimes referred to as cell groups) meet weekly for a time of cultivating treasured relationships, prayer, and to support each other.
