What is Project Endeavor? This new CSD program helps deaf and hard of hearing people receive high speed Internet services in their home. The first step in the overall project is hiring staff fluent in American Sign Language to work at the Project Endeavor contact center. Are you interested in working for the nations largest deaf and hard of hearing service organization, CSD? If so, watch the video!
So what jobs are available now?
First, we have a number of Customer Support Specialist 1 (CSS 1) positions in the contact center. The CSS 1 will help deaf and hard of hearing people receive broadband service in their homes. When a deaf or hard of hearing person who is interested in broadband services contacts CSD, they will connect first with the CSS 1. The CSS 1 will educate customers about broadband services and how broadband services can benefit them. The CSS 2 positions are available too, and their responsibilities include following up with customers for additional information, educating customers how to use technology and other available services, providing technical support and filing reports.
