Chad Nelson has over 10 years experience since graduating from Hamline University School of Law. Since then he worked first for a local District Court Judge in Chisago County then taking over a criminal defense law practice of 25 years. The office continues to focus on the defense of crimes from traffic violations to DUIs, gross misdemeanors and, finally, to serious felonies. Chad Nelson obtained dismissal of a third degree murder indictment in Kanabec County due to the client's promised immunity and Grand Jury misconduct issues pursuant to Kastigar vs United States. He also had an 86 year sentence reduced to 10 years reinstating a prior plea offer on a post conviction action in Arizona where he also practices law in the Supreme Courts.
