Scanlan Introduces Exciting New Products!
New VATS / MICS Chitwood Knot Pusher & Suture Cutter
The new VATS / MICS Chitwood Super Cut® suture cutter enables surgeons to confidently and safely cut suture in deep operative fields through small incisions and ports 10.5 mm and larger. The unique design of the footplate prevents Inadvertently cutting the knot and ensures the suture tags above the knot will always be the appropriate length.
New SCANLAN® VATS / MICS Instruments!
SCANLAN® is proud to introduce the new Axial Handle Forceps. This innovative design provides superior balance and feel. They are perfect for thoracoscopic surgeons who prefer instruments which they can “roll” between their fingertips. The ergonomic handle design provides a secure grasp that is comfortable and familiar.
New SCANLAN® Caliper and MEMORY Instruments!
SCANLAN® MEMORY Instruments are a unique hybrid instrument design of nitinol and stainless steel.
The straight shafts of the SCANLAN® MEMORY instruments can be easily
customized into a variety of curved shapes during the procedure to best fit the
patient’s anatomy and the instrument will return to its original shape when exposed to high temperatures.
40 New Surg-I-Band® Color Coding Designs!
Scanlan introduced the original Surg-I-Band color coding in 1961 …and since that time has continued to expand the color coding system. We are excited to introduce 40 new designs which highlight unique symbols, numbers and operating room specialties. These are a great addition and compliments the complete Surg-I-Band color coding system- including spools, labels, dispensers, removers, and a carousel.
