Congratulations Eric Larsen !!!

This just in ... Eric has successfully completed the Save the Poles expedition by summiting on and returning safely from Mount Everest!!!
In November 2009 Polar explorer Eric Larsen began the Save the Poles Expedition a first-ever journey to the South Pole, North Pole and summit of Mt. Everest in a continuous 365-day period. This feat has never been completed in one year. His purpose? To travel to the "front lines" of global warming to document the changes occurring in these last great frozen places.
Eric, of Grand Marais, Minnesota, comes to Midwest Mountaineering during the upcoming Outdoor Adventure Expo held November 19th to 21st. He will present "Into the Heart of Cold" just 4 short weeks after completing his record-breaking North Pole, South Pole, and Mount Everest trio of epic accomplishment.
