These ratings, based on reported March 31, 2010 numbers, are top tier ratings. According to both rating services, HomeTown Bank has strong asset quality, solid loan loss reserve coverage, good earnings, good liquidity and strong capital. HomeTown is a customer-friendly bank that is well-capitalized and continues to be profitable. Our deposit accounts are insured by the FDIC up to $250,000. For accounts exceeding $250,000, HomeTown Bank provides deposits through the CDARS program. Through this program, deposits can be insured by FDIC for up to $50 million.
