I have been rebuilding transmissions since1996. I've been to Vo-Tec for general automotive repair at Lake Superior Community Collage. I have worked at 4 different transmission shops here in Minnesota. I'd like to think that I have taken the best Knowledge from each, and built myself a business that reflects as much. I believe that your interaction is the key to my success. I live in a small town where going that extra mile isn't extra. At King Transmission I want nothing more then to fulfill your needs in the most cost efficient and reliable way. I don't think that you always need a rebuilt transmission. That's why if your trans isn't all tore up I don't see why we couldn't just fix it. If your car needed a camshaft would you rebuild the motor? Well yes, if you have the money laying around, but I don't! I can teardown your trans, repair the problem, and look it over to make sure the trans will last. I want to hear your input, and you to tell me the way you want to go. I really enjoy working on trannys and am still fascinated by the new ones that come out. Be it racing or everyday driving there's nothing more satisfying then seeing your transmissions on the move. I use only the best clutches and bands in every build.
