In 1870, lumber baron Conrad Bohn built his elegant Winona home along with a grand three story Carriage House. Large enough to accommodate six carriages, several horses, a second floor hay loft, and rooms for stable boys, the old Carriage House stands today as a pleasant reminder of a bygone era.
The Carriage House Bed & Breakfast is located in the center of historic Winona, Minnesota, nestled between majestic bluffs and the mighty Mississippi River.
The Carriage House has four cozy guest rooms with antique furnishings and elegant Victorian dcor. All rooms have private baths. Some rooms have Jacuzzis and fireplaces. Free use of tandem and single bikes. A delicious breakfast featuring hot muffins, croissants, sweet rolls, fresh fruit, and a variety of beverages awaits you. Nostalgic rides in our Model A Ford are available upon request from May through October. Real-time reservations can be made by phone or on this website.
