The Breiwick companies are a full-service landscaping and snow removal service located in Albertville, MN, but servicing the entire twin cities metro. We provide fall clean up services, sprinkler blow outs, sod, fall fertilizing and aeration.

Breiwick Companies, Inc was established in 1998 by its president Dustin Breiwick. The company began by specializing in full service stump removal and snow removal. The companies first client was Dustin's step father who owns A Top Notch Tree Care. Through a tradition of excellence, commitment to the customer, and hard work the companies client list expanded to servicing many tree/landscape contractors, city contracts, State Of MN Grounds, and numerous private residences. Over time the company notice the growing amount of customers asking for other services. The company decided to capitalize on the growing demand for landscaping and lawn care. Today the Breiwick Companies offers a wide range of services in landscaping, landscape maintenance/lawn care, stump removal, and snow/ice management. Breiwick Companies is proud to be a one stop shop for our clients curb appeal needs.

The grind only service includes grinding the stump 8"-10 below ground level. The chips that are created from the grinding are rake into a pile and left for the customer to deal with. Stump grindings can be used for mulch beds and compost. The chips usually have a mixture of wood and dirt. The ratio of the mixture depends on the size of stump. The bigger the stump the lower amount of dirt.
Grind and Haul
The grind and haul service includes grinding the stump 8"-10" below ground level. The chips are raked up and removed. The whole where the stump was is left with chips 1 below ground level. We do not remove the chip in the whole for liability reasons.

The back filling service includes the removal of 80% of the chips and back filling with premium topsoil.
Extra Deep Grind
The extra deep grind service is generally used if the customer is replanting in the same area where the stump existed. We grind the stump 18-24 below ground level.
Stump Grinding by the Hour
Stump grinding by the hour is for a site with many stumps. This service is a grind only service and has a minimum charge of 3.5 hours. The hourly rate includes drive time to site.

Tree and Shrub Replacement
Breiwick Companies will replace your tree/shrub the correct and professional way. All you need to do is pick your new plant!

Truck/Loader Plowing
Our plowing equipment is top of the line and made for high volume plowing. We offer 24hour service that you can rely on. Call us to set up a program for you. We offer per time rate, per month rates, and per season.

Whether you have 5 of sidewalk or 10 miles we have the equipment to handle your needs.

Having parking lot space issues from to big of snow piles. Let us remove it for you. We can remove up to 30yds per roll of box.

Our service includes professional mowing, trimming around obstacles, walks and curb lines, and power blow grass clippings off of non-turf areas. We offer on call, weekly, and full season mowing. Breiwick Companies takes pride in the way we mow are turf. We always mow in different directions and with sharp blades. You the customer have the choice of standard mowing and or stripe mowing.

Our service includes complete clean up of all turf areas, landscape beds and walkways. All leaves will be power blown out of landscape beds and walkways and bagged. All debris is disposed at compost sites.

Breiwick Companies offers a wide variety of mulch options. We let you choose the color of mulch and type of wood. Mulching plays a very important role in maintain healthy plants. We recommend mulch bed to be refreshed every two years.

The best way to determine if your soil is supplying the required nutrients for healthy plant growth is to perform a soil test. Through soil testing, the current "fertility status" of your soil can be measured. This lets us know what nutrients may or may not need to be added to the soil to help it foster growth. Not having the proper Ph in your soil can affect the healthiness and look of your turf. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture requires a soil test in order to fertilize and phosphorus.

Breiwick companies offers slice seeding for damaged lawn and or lawns that has had their environment change. Slice seeding slices through the sod and plants new seed directly into the soil. This process allows the correct seed to be used for a changing turf environment such as maturing trees. It will also eliminate the need to strip the existing sod, till the yard, or provide a straw cover.
