Galaxy Precision, Inc. is located just 20 minutes northwest of St. Cloud, Minnesota and is easily accessible from Interstate 94. In 1989 Galaxy Precision, Inc. began and since that time has grown and continues to grow due to quality, flexibility and cost effectiveness. We have been able to develop new customers and continue to serve them because of our continued efforts to understand their demands and needs. Galaxy Precision, Inc. concentrates on CNC turning and milling on a wide range of sizes. From bar feed parts up to a 40" turned diameter. Milling done on vertical and horizontal machining centers. This Daewoo Puma 400 is one of Galaxy's larger turning centers. It has a 21" hydraulic chuck with a 45 horsepower spindle motor. Programs are uploaded and downloaded into the Fanuc 18T control using a Laptop Computer. This machine does an excellent job of turning close tolerance large parts.

This is one of Galaxy's Haas HS1-RP Horizontal Milling Centers. The rotating pallets make this machine very productive. The operator can load and unload parts on the outside pallet while the parts on the inside pallet are being machined. When the operator completes loading and presses the ready button, the mill can index as soon as the first pallet is completed and immediately start machining the parts on the second pallet. The HS1-RP will hold up to 24 mounted tools at one time automatically changing to the next tool and start machining as programmed. This machine has high pressure thru spindle coolant and 4-axis of movement which makes this machine very efficient in manufacturing parts.
