Dan Severson is also committed to serving and improving his community. He has been a member of the Rochester Area Builders Association since 1990, serving as president in 1995. In 1996, Dan was awarded the Builder of the Year award from the association for his outstanding contributions to the Rochester Area Builders. Still actively involved, Dan also participates on the Finance, Executive Building, Strategic Planning, and Marketing Awards and Building Maintenance committees. Dan was a member of the Board of Directors at RAB from 1993 to 1996 and has served as the State Director to the Builders Association of Minnesota representing the Rochester Area Builders from 1996 to 2004.

Dan Severson, a Hayfield, Minnesota, Native, has lived in Rochester for the past 31 years. Dan's favorite recreational activities are hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, and spending time with his family at their lake home in Waterville, Minnesota.
