At Peace Church, we come to explore our beliefs, discuss among ourselves, and live out our faith. We hope this website gives you an idea of what we are all about and that your own walk with God may bring you to our doors.

Thursday November 18 CHUM Fall Community Assembly at Holy Family Catholic Church (2430 W. 3rd St.) Come together for music, refreshments and fellowship. 6:30pm Time to Gather, Refreshments and social time. 7-8pm Time to Listen and Learn, Stories and conversation by CHUM staff around three CHUM programs: employment, family stabilization and community organizing.
Thursday November 18 PALS potluck dinner at the Hamshers with discussion led by Sam Cook.
Thursday November 18 Sabbath Support Group at 6:30 in the Fireside Room.
Friday November 19 Friday film night "War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us to Death" at 7pm in Fireside Room. Sponsored by the Just Peace Committee. The film is based on Normon Solomon's book by the same name. This will take the place of the previously advertised film, "Rethink Afghanistan", cancelled because of a faulty DVD.
Sunday November 21 Thanksgiving Sunday. Sermon by Pastor Kathy. Music by our choir, the Hankas, and Ryan Van Slooten.
Sale for East Timor in the Narthex Dave Cave’s lovely woodturnings will be for sale! All proceeds to benefit the Liddles’ East Timor ministry.

In the Fireside Room: Being a Community of Care for our Teenagers . .Join us for a DVD and discussion for parents of 10 18 years olds and people interested in learning more about how we reach out to teenagers as a faith community.
In the Fellowship Hall: “Menu for the Future”. Final "What Next" session in the Fellowship Hall.

Sunday November 21 Intergenerational roller skating at World of Wheels in Superior. 5-7pm. Cost is $4.50 per person.

Monday November 22 “Bring it to the Table” conversations on faith for men, 6:30pm in the Fireside Room.
Tuesday November 23 Joint Interfaith Thanksgiving Service, 7pm at Pilgrim Congregational UCC, 2310 E 4th St. Choirs will sing three joint anthems, preacher will be Rabbi David Steinberg, and our very own Peace Puppets will perform.
Wednesday November 24 No Wednesday Activities
Sunday November 28 First Sunday in Advent. Help us decorate the sanctuary! No church School, but please come to the Fellowship Hall to bake cookies, make cards and trim trees.
Senior High "Epic Italian" Feast and Conversation has been rescheduled for December 4th, 4pm - 8:30. All High Schoolers invited!

Tom, Monica, Hannah, and Simon Liddle will be in Duluth December 1 through 5. Come join us for a potluck with them at 5 p.m. on Friday night, December 3. They will spend some time sharing their mission and experiences. They will also be preaching and leading Adult Forum on Sunday, December 5. Tom is looking for some easy to pack Sunday School supplies to take back to East Timor. "Old fashioned" type things like Bible story cut outs or coloring books materials would be best.
