St. Michaels Catholic Church (4901 E. Superior St.) is hosting this years special Thanksgiving worship service. This is a wonderful time to join our friends in Lakeside and Lester Park to collectively praise our God. A combined choir will be singing.
The ecumenical worship service will be held on Tuesday, November 23 at 7:00 pm.

Sunday, November 28 is the first Sunday of Advent. We will begin this season with a Hanging of the Greens Worship Service. During worship we will be helping to decorate the sanctuary in preparation for Christmas.
You are encouraged to bring an ornament from home or make one to hang on the tree.

The Christian Education Committee is coordinating an Advent special event Sunday, December 5 during and after our Potluck. Youre invited to decorate Christmas cookies, make a special tree ornament, and celebrate the Birth of our Savior with us and your church family!

SPC Leo Jewett presented a U.S.A. flag to Lakeside Presbyterian Church. This flag was flown over Camp Liberty, Baghdad, Iraq on May 1, 2010. The flag and certificate are hanging in the fellowship hall as a thank you for prayers and support.
