The Brainerd Seventh-day Adventist church exists to be: A place where you can learn to love Jesus; Learn to love others; Be equipped for serving others; And become all that God has created you to be.
Come worship and work with us as we seek to follow Jesus command to make disciples of all nations.
Volleyball! Join us from 6-8 p.m. in the school gym for volleyball every Saturday night.
Time to Pray! Every Wednesday (6-7pm) we get together for one hour of prayer thru Scripture, song (both contemporary & traditional) and various forms of prayer. It is facilitated, comfortable, non-threatening and easy for first-timers to participate. Anyone is welcome to this prayer time! Can't make it? We still want to lift you up in prayer! Share your specific praises/concerns in the prayer room box, and our prayer team will bring them to God. November's prayer theme will be "Gratitude & Thanksgiving".
"Fresh Encounters" the new adult Sabbath school class has begun. Feel free to join us at 10:15 in the prayer room. The importance of the church praying together is evident throughout the book of Acts. But today in most churches, corporate prayer isn't a priority. If we want to see a fresh outpouring of God's Spirit in ourselves and our churches, it's time to start something new. "Fresh Encounters" is about seeing prayer in a whole new light and with renewed motivation. It will call you to new levels of intimacy with God.
MN Conference Challenge for 2011 "We want to encourage every church member to read through their Bible in 2011. Our entire church must be in the Word. For some time now I have been reading through God's Word every year; I have found tremendous blessings in spending that time walking daily with God. Notice what it says in Psalm 119:105: 'Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.' I believe if we had all of our folks (young and old alike) committed to reading God's Word through next year it would make a big difference in our homes, churches, and conference. I challenge you to find a Bible reading program and follow it for the year 2011!" --Ed Barnett , MN Conference President
The Brainerd church will be taking this challenge very seriously by providing support and fun motivational ideas to help your entire family accomplish this task. Start making plans now to make this a New Year's Resolution or goal.
