Every Friday in November MVHS is celebrating black friday! This means that all pets that are black or black and white adopted on Fridays will receive an additional 10% off their adoption fee!

Mittens for Kittens and Hats for Cats

Donate Mittens and Hats to receive a 15% discount on an animal adoption in the month of November! The Mittens & Hats will be going to Armful of Love.

Adopt a Senior Animal Month

All animals 7 years and older will be 15% off during the month of November!

We try to spend our limited resources to directly benefit the animals, but that doesnt leave much to spend on the things we need to keep our shelter running. Anything our supporters can help us with is greatly appreciated!

Even thoughwe greatlyappreciate all the items that aredonated to us,we are unable to accept the following items:
Sheets, used litter boxes, used litter scoops,outdoor dog kennels, rabbit hutches, dog houses, criss-crossed shredded paper, pet food not in the original container, andempty color printer cartridges.
Thank you for your understanding, and if you'd like to donate, the following are items we are in urgent need of:
* KONGS - regular size, both red & black
* Non-Clumping kitty litter
* Antibacterial Surface Wipes
* Sheet Protectors (stationary department)
* Dry Kitten Food (preferably IAMS or Purina)
* Dry dog food (preferable IAMS or Purina)
* Dawn dish soap

* Knotted Rawhides (white, non-basted or flavored!)
* HE Laundry Detergent
* Monetary Donations (Any amount is appreciated!)
