Minnesota Gynecology and Surgery is sorry to announce that Dr. Mandi Beman will be relocating to Denver, Colorado. She has accepted a unique and special position to lead the development of a Gynecologic Robotic Surgery program at Porter Adventist Hospital. On a personal note, her fiancé is an Orthopedic resident in Denver and they will now be together.
Dr. Beman thoroughly enjoyed her time with us and the privilege it was to care for so many wonderful patients. She felt that our clinic model of a Center of Excellence for Women' Health, that focuses entirely on comprehensive gynecologic care, is exactly what she hopes to create in her new position. We wish her the best of luck and know she will continue to be an outstanding physician in her new position. Minnesota Gynecology and Surgery will provide uninterrupted care for all Dr. Beman's patients.
Created with the belief that women should be fully informed regarding all choices available for their health, Minnesota Gynecology and Surgery is a one-of-a-kind clinic offering state-of-the-art procedures and leading edge women's health services.
Laparoscopic hysterectomies, robotic surgeries, stress incontinence procedures, help for heavy periods and chronic pelvic pain are some of our specialties.
And it's not just acute care. Everyday care and yearly exams are done within your scheduled appointment time. Mammograms, bone density scans and hysteroscopy testing are done right here, during your appointment, making this a one-stop appointment with no need to refer you elsewhere. An added benefit: because our doctors are not delivering babies at all hours, your appointment will not be rescheduled or canceled at the last minute.
"Just as women's bodies changes as they go through life, we wanted to make a transition that was natural for us as well. Giving up obstetrics was hard, but we knew that by focusing on gynecology and surgery, we could better focus on our patients. Our patients now can choose less-invasive procedures done in our office - not a hospital - with quicker recovery times and fewer missed days of work and family time."
