Kozy's Steaks and Seafood is the creation of Bill and Dana Kozlak. It is our desire for you to consider Kozy's Steaks and Seafood as a restaurant you call home. Our menu offers fresh made soups, salads, daily specials, classic steakhouse fare, fresh seafood, as well as small plate items and a large selection of tempting appetizers. We want to provide a comfortable setting for you to enjoy a quick lunch, after work stress-release, pre-and post-function gathering, brunch, or the perfect place to celebrate that special event or long over-due date. Our private room with large screen TV, DVD and high speed internet service is ideal for a business affair or family celebration.

We are very fortunate to have learned and trained from the best institution in the Twin Cities. My grandparents, Joe and Gertrude Kozlak, were the founders of Jax Caf in Northeast Minneapolis in 1933. They passed their knowledge onto my parents, Bill and Kathy, who successfully managed and maintained the strong tradition of excellence for 40 years, before retiring and selling us the business in 2000. Growing up in the family business, we, too, learned the values and high standards of great food and customer first service.

After years of listening to customers say they wished we had another location, we finally agreed to give it a try. With the same strong emphasis on food and customer service that has made Jax a Minnesota landmark, we are ready to begin a new tradition with Kozy's Steaks and Seafood.
